  • HRC Services is especially well suited to defined interior refresh and improvement projects: multi-room wall and ceiling painting, drywall repair that supports painting, finish carpentry, doors and hardware, shelves and mounting, furniture assembly, and small-commercial refresh work.

  • Our home-base is the Riverwest neighborhood of Milwaukee, WI. We typically bill for travel at half our hourly labor rate. This organically limits our service area to Milwaukee and surrounding neighborhods.

  • One to three weeks lead time is typical for us.

  • Yes, but we have a two-hour minimum charge, plus travel. So, we’ll take care of a 15 minute project for you if that’s what you need, but will charge two hours to make the scheduling and the trip worthwhile for us.

  • Yes. We carry commercial liability insurance. We’re registered with the state of Wisconsin DSPS as a Qualified Dwelling Contractor. That means we maintain insurance and maintain state-required training.

  • HRC Services formerly known as Erik’s Helping Hands made the change for two main reasons:
    1) The new web domain grants us more freedom and control over our future.
    2) The new name more accurately reflects our core values and the scope of our offering.

    It’s the same leadership and service under a new name.

  • Our best-fit projects have a clear scope and create a meaningful improvement in one area of a home or business. We especially enjoy multi-room interior painting and defined refresh projects that may also include wall repair, trim, hardware, shelving, mounting, or organization improvements.

  • We do not take on roofing, plumbing, high-voltage electrical, garage-door repair, or standalone moving and hauling. Large open-ended multi-task lists may be better handled as separate, defined projects.
